Merseyflow walk-in centre opening hours change

After helping more than 10,000 customers, the opening hours of merseyflow’s Runcorn walk-in centre will change on Tuesday April 3rd.

The change will mean the walk-in centre, located at Manor Park, Runcorn, will reduce its hours of operation slightly on weekdays.

Weekend and bank holiday opening times are unaffected, and call centre opening hours will remain unchanged.

The changes mean from April 3rd the walk-in centre will be open 9am to 7pm Monday to Friday.

Customers will still be able to visit the walk-in centre on weekends and bank holidays between 9am and 6pm, and customers can still contact the call centre team between 8am and 8pm.

The walk-in centre’s full address is: Howard Court, Manor Park, Runcorn, WA7 1SJ

Anthony Alicastro, managing director of merseyflow, said the change was part of the natural lifecycle of the walk-in centre, and reflected demand for walk-in centre services.

“Since opening the walk-in centre has helped more than 10,000 people with their merseyflow accounts, in February alone the team helped more than 1,700 people.

“However, as we approach six months of full operation we are finding more and more people are visiting the walk-in centre between the hours of 9am and 7pm on weekdays,” he said.

“Now people have become more familiar with the tolls/charges, the bridge and the services we offer, we are in a position to slightly reduce the opening hours of the walk-in centre. Hardly anyone was using the centre before 8am or after 7pm so it makes sense to focus our resources and adapt our service to ensure we meet customer demands.

“While the walk-in centre will be changing its hours of operation from Monday to Friday, weekend and bank holiday opening hours remain unchanged, as will call centre opening hours.”
