The annual family event sees hundreds of local people dressed in Santa suits taking part in the 3km fun run/walk from West Bank Boat Club Café, Spike Island in Widnes, to the finish by Costa in Runcorn.
Halton Haven Hospice and this year’s sponsor, merseyflow, are encouraging more people to come together to help raise the vital funds needed to continue providing comfort, dignity, and specialist end-of-life care to those within our community.
Extending the partnership into a fourth year with Halton Haven Hospice, merseyflow is getting into the Santa Dash spirit by entering a team of staff into the fun run on the day.
Tina Robinson, Fundraising Manager at Halton Haven Hospice, said, “The Santa Dash is one of the highlights of our festive calendar. Everyone who takes part helps us continue providing care and support to local people and families who need it most. Together, we can make a difference in Halton. We look forward to welcoming everyone for another unforgettable day filled with fun and community spirit.”
Helen Williams, Marketing Manager for merseyflow, said: "We are thrilled to support the Santa Dash again this year and can’t wait to see the bridge filled with Santas. Supporting Halton Haven Hospice is something we are truly passionate about. They make an incredible difference for people across Halton, and we’re proud to play a small part in helping them continue their important work. The merseyflow team can't wait to put on our Santa suits and join the festivities."
The Santa Dash entry fee is £20 for adults and £10 for children (up to 16 years old). Under 5s are free (no Santa suit provided), dogs are £4, and a family ticket is £50.
