How it works
Our free flow tolling system means we do not use pay booths. This helps reduce journey times and minimise congestion.
There are different discount plans available to suit your needs. These include plans for Halton residents and Blue Badge holders, as well as pre-pay, monthly pass options. There is also a pay as you go account for occasional users.
Remember - if you do not register for an account, you can pay the full toll/charge up to 12 months in advance of a crossing or by midnight the day after your crossing.

Merseyflow Pre-pay plan
Available to anyone. Get 10% discount off crossings with a sticker or 5% discount without a sticker.
Unlimited Monthly Travel Pass
Available to anyone with a small car or van, choose either an unlimited travel pass or off-peak pass
Local User Discount Scheme (LUDS)
Available to eligible Halton residents.
Blue Badge Plan
Available to blue badge holders..
Off-peak Monthly Pass
Off-peak travel for class 2 vehicles for £75 per month.
Pay As You Go account
Suitable for occasional users, you can choose autopay or pay manually.

Calculate how much you’ll pay
You can pay for crossings without registering, either by paying in advance or by 11.59pm the day after your journey. If you do this, you will need to pay the full unregistered toll charge for each journey you make.
If you don’t pay on time you will receive a Penalty Charge Notice.
